Michael really enjoys going to the library. We try to go once a week, usually Tuesdays or Thursdays. He picks out 5 -7 books and a couple of DVDs, usually Disney movies. His favorite right now is Jungle Book 2 and Tarzan & Jane. The children's section of the library is upstairs. Michael makes a point of stopping by the Librarian's desk to show her what he picked out that day. Then he puts them in his blue book badge (bag) and he sits on the counter as we check them out. Prying the books out of his hands at bed time is quite a struggle. He asks me to "talk to them". Translation "read to me". And I do over and over and over. After a while he has memorized most of the pages. We hope as he grows older he retains his love of books.
