I am trying to put everyone to work! Frank (now 6 months)was close to getting his 1st commercial yesterday. When getting the details for the Providence Community commercial, I was asked if I had a dog. Why yes I do...I had to wait by the phone for more info. We waited with bated doggy breath~ unfortunately Frank is still unemployed. Although the dog they did choose was very similiar looking, she had very good dawgy manners. Sorry Frank maybe next time.

Michael is a Prince!

In March Michael competed in the Spring 2007 Hawaiian Tropic Pageant. The theme was summer beach/swim wear. He looked adorable in his lime green T-shirt and shark swim trunks. He did very well for his 1st (beauty?) pageant. Michael placed 3rd overall...so his 2 ft. trophy says:

"Hawaiian Tropic 3rd Prince".

And he won the "Most Beautiful Hair" category ~ In my opinion it was a gimme. : )

Our Sorority Girl

Our beautiful daughter Krystal has joined a christian sorority at Baylor University. Krystal is now an active member of the Sigma Phi Lambda Sorority. Sigma Phi Lambdas are required to attend church on Sunday and join a bible study. The SPL's also sponsor a christian service project every month. We are very proud of her and pray that her life is blessed & enriched by her works of service.

Dau Casa - Su Casa Our Summer Visitors

Well, this summer has certainly brought us a lot of visitors! We have enjoyed having each and every one of you here with us. Our only wish would have been cooler temperatures!

New Arrival

Congratulations to David, Jo Ellen & Joshua on the arrival of Jonah Griffin. Jonah made his grand entrance on the morning of Friday May 12th, 2006 at 7:48 a.m.

Jonah (a.k.a. the whale) is a content baby who enjoys eating , sleeping  and looking at his big brother. The little "whale" weighed in at 8 lb. 2 oz.  at a whopping 20 inches long. He looks just like his Mama.

CONGRATULATIONS! WE LOVE YOU ALL.

 

Pool Time

As our summer days slowly drift by in the haze of the afternoon heat, we all enjoy spending time in the pool. Our newest fish has come along way with his swimming techniques. Michael can hold his breath and dip beneath the waters surface (and will proudly boast to such a feat). He enjoys jumping in the warm water to his dad or circling the pool with big sister Krystal. Floating on a raft or throwing toys at Mark bring added pleasure to the aquatic experience. There is no need to warm up the jacuzzi as the water's temperature is a steady 87 degrees. Even so, it is reprieve from the summer sun and we have to drag the little one out when his hands & feet are pruned and his lips are turning blue.
