OK by now you are all probably tired of me complaining about the intense heat of Las Vegas. It's been a year already! Enough-is-enough you are saying. So, I have decided to seek out positive aspects of desert dwelling. So here it goes...One of the MOST incredible full moons I have ever seen happened a few weeks ago. The full moon was enormous as it slowly rose over the Eastern mountains. The color was a deep crimson red with an orange glow. I felt like you could reach out and touch it. It was so big Michael thought it was the sun! I'm not a scientist - so I do not know why the moon was red. It may have had something to do with the smoke from the fires in Southern California. We could smell the smoke as we stood on our balcony to take pictures. My camera is not sophisticated enough to capture the details and colors of the moon that night. But as we stood there in amazement and awe we were reminded of God's glory.
